a couple of pretty pictures from one of my favorite illustrators, julie morstad.
i like these ones in particular because they remind me of the first children's book i remember as a kid called mary of mile 18. not really in look, of course, but they feel the same to me. it was my sister's, i think... anyway, it was a canadian hit. look it up.
