this man puts us all to shame. ok just me.
it's baffling to me how someone is so creative and productive in what is seemingly and simply his spare time. portland's joel henriques is continuously inventing little bits and big bits of what range from dark room experiments to latchhook rugs to charming animals put together with leftover materials. i'm always inspired. and envious. he's like, "oh, i just found some vintage dominoes and leftover wire from some framing, so i threw together an exact replica of the eiffel tower while i was waiting for my coffee..."
does having kids instantly increase your art+crafts-itude? it must.
either way, i'm ten times the slacker now, just for having looked at this again.
i love his paper city.
